Terrilyn Battle, Ph.D., LCMHC, LPC, LRC, NCC, CRC, CVE
Regarded as a vibrant and energetic personality, Terrilyn aims to help you become the best version of yourself by helping you identify solutions to live in authenticity. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina and is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor in the state of New Jersey. Terrilyn is a National Certified Counselor, Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Certified Vocational Evaluator. She holds a Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling and Rehabilitation Counselor Education and has a MS in Rehabilitation Counseling. Through her exposure as a vocational counselor working in various federal-state vocational rehabilitation agencies, she has gained experience working with transition-aged youth and adults with disabilities to aid their abilities to become gainfully employed. To date, Terrilyn has aided many individuals in their quest to overall health and wellbeing by providing counseling support to explore their emotional and mental wellness.
Terrilyn is active in her pursuit of research and expanding the field in the following areas: Impostor Phenomenon, cultural immersion and multiculturalism, and employability among underrepresented populations. Terrilyn sees counseling as a collaborative effort and desires to offer a space where all of her clients feel safe, seen, and heard. Her areas of specialty reflect assisting individuals in exploring professional identity and role confusion, acknowledging impostor feelings by exploring emotions regarding self-esteem and identity conflict, and conflict resolution in the workplace.
